Flemington Car & Truck Country is proud to help our community during these unprecedented times in any way we can. That’s why our team has donated food to both the Flemington Area Food Pantry and the Hunterdon Medical Center!
This effort was led by Ellen Nardoni, the community liaison here at Flemington Car & Truck Country and Steve Kalafer’s executive assistant, as a way of thanking them for the work they have been doing for our community to help those in need during the COVID-19 outbreak. Several packages of cookies were arranged by her to be delivered by our team.
Our first stop was the Flemington Area Food Pantry, where we dropped off cookies for the volunteers who are still hard at work with limitless dedication to helping the less fortunate in our community. We also are proud to contribute a portable JNC660 battery jump box to the Pantry to help those experiencing car trouble while waiting in long lines to pick up their orders.
Then, we brought several packages of cookies to the Hunterdon Medical Center to donate. This is the second food contribution we’ve made to the Hunterdon Medical Center this year, as our team treated the Hunterdon Medical Center ER & ICU staff to lunch a couple of months back when the coronavirus pandemic was starting to ramp up.
Flemington Car & Truck Country also gave cookie packages to the associates who work for us across our entire family of brands, which is comprised of 16 brands across 8 locations. The cookies were made by the Italian Bakery & Espresso Bar here in Flemington at the Hunterdon Shopping Center.
We’re grateful to the bakery team for making these special handmade treats for our associates & the community partners we support, as everybody enjoyed them! The Italian Bakery & Espresso Bar is a family business that’s been a fixture in our hometown since 1985.
